32 Poems Appears After a Night of Drama

I had an event to attend tonight about 25 miles from my house. It took me 1.5 hours to reach this place, and 30 minutes of that was spent in a tunnel under the U.S. Capitol. Plus…

MFA

Posted by deborah

I saw that one post had been scraped today instead of dozens, so what I did reduced (but did not completely eliminate) the scraping.
What’s funny is that they scraped a post on “MFA” as in the creative writing degree. What they really wanted was a post about Made for AdSense.

My Content is Being Scraped

Posted by deborah

Do you know the definition of scraped content?
It’s when someone steals your content and places it on their blog to make money from it. Some sap is stealing content from my RSS feeds…lots of other websites. At first, I thought the content was being used by an acquaintance. Later, due to the massive quantity […]

Blog Action Day: Going Green

Posted by deborah

Blog Action Day asks bloggers to write about a particular subject. The idea is to have thousands of voices talking about important issues in order to raise awareness. Technically, I’m a day late. I only just found out about this event from Collin Kelly.
The most recent subject is about going green. I’ve changed how I […]

Marketing Your Poetry Book

Posted by deborah

I belong to a number of social networking websites such as Good Reads, Facebook or LinkedIn. I’ve heard a few people say they don’t have time for sites like that, and I can empathize and understand with that point of view. At the same time, it’s important to recognize the power of book marketing with […]
