Lots of streets and buildings are flooding. I’ve never seen it rain this long before. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that our basement can hold up unti it’s over.

We’ve had 10 inches of rain in the past 24 hours. I arrived home after a 12-hour (without baby it’s 8 hours) journey (during which someone cried for 1 hour at least) to no electricity. Ah, back to real life.
