My grandmother died a week ago from yesterday.

I just heard that Jason Shinder, awesome poet and dear friend of one of my post-MFA@UFL mentors, just passed away from cancer.

What IS it with all of the death and sadness these days?

I hope your grandmother is hanging tight.
